Visiting Artist: Cristina Córdova

Cristina Córdova showed us her agile, astute hand-building procedures in two sessions of figurative sculpture demonstrations at the college of ceramics. She gave a public lecture in Binns Merrill Hall in Room C, followed by the opening reception of her exhibition JUNGLA at the Alfred Ceramics Art Museum during Alfred Art Walk. Cristina’s figurative work has established her as one of the preeminent ceramic artists of her generation.
