Brian
is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at Pennsylvania State
University. He was a Visting Instructor at NSCAD in 2010 and holds and
MFA degree from Cranbrook Academy of Art. Brian's current work seeks
context for objects that question the ideas supplementality, use, value,
and craftspersonship.

Born and raised near Stoke-On-Trent, ceramic artist Neil Brownsword began working at the Wedgwood factory at age 16. Brownsword studied at the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff, at the Royal Academy in London, and received his Ph. D. from Brunel University in London.
